I repeat, tea doilies. Made of sugar.
Congratulations, you’ve made it through another month!
(And almost another year!)
I’m so proud of you for carrying on, when sometimes you didn’t want to.
Happy December! :)
Keep going, you are doing great.
PLEASE NEVER GIVE YOUR ANIMALS HARTZ PRODUCTS! IT HAS CAUSED NUMEROUS DEATHS IN CATS, and DOGS, it HAS CAUSED BURNS, and SEIZURES, THE VETERINARIAN SAYS IT IS PURE POISON. EVEN THE ANIMAL TREATS! PLEASE PLEASE REBLOG THIS!! YOU MAY SAVE A LIFE!
Note: Most, almost all, flea treatments that are a liquid which is put on the fur are dangerous to use, and it can be hard to tell which ones won’t risk your pet’s life. A LOT of animals are severely allergic to them. Our cat, Lexi, is fine with them and has never had any issues, however our other cat Ringo nearly died because of it. He started off by running around trying to clean himself as if he was really really itchy, then he started to drool. At midnight he started foaming at the mouth. By that point I KNEW something was wrong and tried to wash the flea treatment off of his fur, as the vets were closed and that was all I could do. Then he started shivering, and after a few hours started to seizure every few minutes. The seizures started at 7am, we got him to the vets at 9am. They said that if we had left it another hour then he would be dead.
They gave him some medication to help calm him down and stop the seizures and cleaned what little of the flea treatment that was left off of him. They kept a watch on him for a day or two and let us take him home. I had a syringe that I would have to insert into his butt and squeeze the liquid inside into him if he was to start seizuring again, but luckily that didn’t happen.
I stayed up with him all night every night for a week. I got little, if any, sleep, because I’m a heavy sleeper and if nobody was awake to watch him then he could seizure and die before we woke.
The flea treatment was put on the back of his neck, where they supposedly can’t reach it, and the box never gave any warning of these possible side effects. We threw it all out the moment we got back from the vets.
We were very lucky that the seizures didn’t cause Ringo any long term damage.
My cat almost died because of those flea treatments. Do NOT risk your pet’s health or life for this. Find another way to get rid of their fleas.
